CERTIFICATION TRAINING AVAILABE!!!!

The lifeguard is responsible for the safety and well being of the patrons of the swimming pool under the direction of the Swim Pool Supervisor.

HOURS WILL VARY BETWEEN 9am and 2:30pm

Essential Work Duties:                                                                                                                                                              

1. Monitor and establish a safe swimming area and pool building.

2. Address any safety hazards and emergency procedures at the pool when necessary.                        

3. Enforce all safety rules and regulations of the pool.                                                                                          

4. Ability to read, understand and comprehend pool chemical testing.

5. Issue memberships and registration forms as needed.                                                                                  

6. Help with routine housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and maintaining locker rooms, decks, bleachers, and office areas.                                                                                                                                         

7. Other duties as assigned by the Swim Pool Supervisor.

Necessary Qualifications:

• At least 15 years of age                                                                                                                              
• Current Red Cross Lifeguarding and First Aid cards                                  
• Current Red Cross CPR card
