Temporary Summer Position

Job Grade 104, up to 4 hrs/day

July 8, 2024 through August 16, 2024. Hours may vary

SUMMARY 

This position assists in the preparation and serving of attractive and nutritious meals to students in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness, and friendliness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.

•      Maintains a cooperative relationship with fellow staff members, students, and the general public.

•      Adheres to and enforces district, state, and federal laws, policies, procedures, and regulations.

•      Prepares and/or assists in preparation of foods, serving, and dining area.

•      Serves students and staff.

•      Assists with the daily cleaning of all kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and sanitary conditions are met.

•      Assists in the sets up and break down of serving lines

•      Removes dishes and assists in the cleaning of counters, tables and furnishings in dining area.

•      Maintains the work site in a neat and sanitary condition.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Temporary staff or students as may be assigned to assist in workload.  Responsibilities would include training, planning, and directing work.
